Ibadan, Nigeria – The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has urged Christians across Nigeria to discover their divine purpose and remain steadfast in pursuing it in order to fulfill their God-ordained destinies.
Adeboye gave this charge yesterday while speaking during a special thanksgiving service held to mark the 70th birthday of the General Overseer of Gethsemane World Prayer Centre, Eleiyele, Ibadan, Rev’d (Dr.) Moses Aransiola, and his wife, Pastor Funmi Aransiola. The event also celebrated the couple’s remarkable 50 years in ministry.
In his address, Pastor Adeboye described Rev. Aransiola as a shining example of a Christian leader who discovered his divine purpose early and has remained resolutely committed to it over the decades.
“It is critical for every child of God to find their purpose and remain focused,” Adeboye said. “This is the pathway to fulfilling your destiny and making impactful contributions to the body of Christ and the world.”

Also present at the thanksgiving service was the Bishop of Ilesa Diocese (Anglican Communion) and former Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo Town, Prof. Dapo Asaju, who commended Rev. Aransiola for his unwavering commitment to the ministry of prayer and intercession.
