Bishop David Oyedepo Declares Divine Vengeance Against Enemies of Nigeria and the Church

Bishop Oyedepo declared that those who have shed innocent blood—especially through the massacre of children and other ritual killings—would not escape the judgment of God.

Ota, Nigeria — In a spiritually charged moment during the close of Sunday’s worship service at Faith Tabernacle, the founder and presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Dr. David O. Oyedepo, issued a bold prophetic declaration, calling down divine vengeance upon the enemies of Nigeria and adversaries of the Church of Christ.

In a solemn tone, Bishop Oyedepo declared that those who have shed innocent blood—especially through the massacre of children and other ritual killings—would not escape the judgment of God. “Cries shall not cease from their households,” he pronounced, referencing the pain and sorrow inflicted upon grieving mothers and families across the nation.

He further stated that those who sponsor evil in the land and perpetuate ritual killings will be visited by the vengeance of God, assuring the congregation that heaven will not remain silent over the injustices committed against the nation.

Standing firmly as a spiritual voice over Nigeria, Bishop Oyedepo also addressed the global Church, pronouncing that the enemies of the Church of Christ have been brought to naught. He rained prophetic curses on diabolical powers and influences working against the advancement of God’s kingdom, assuring believers that good news is imminent for the Body of Christ.

Before closing the service, the revered preacher released words of blessings over his congregation, declaring:

“Every arrow shot against you shall return to sender. You will hear good news from every corner!”

This prophetic charge comes at a time when the nation is grappling with spiritual, social, and security challenges, and serves as both a call to prayer and a declaration of hope.

As the faithful left the sanctuary, there was a resounding sense that heaven has spoken—and vengeance belongs to the Lord.
